Willis “Randy” VanKeuren III

Willis R. VanKeuren III, known as Randy to friends and family, died suddenly on the evening of July 13, 2023. He was born February 24, 1963 in Margaretville, son of the late Willis R. VanKeuren Jr. and Linda Ruff VanKeuren.

         Randy is known for being an avid sports fan with his love of baseball and his beloved team The Mets. His love of the game lead him to coaching youth baseball teams and being able to talk to anyone about the game for hours. He also enjoyed watching football with the Pittsburgh Steelers being his favorite team.

         On September 16, 1984 Randy married his high school sweetheart, Tammara Todd. Together the raised three children.

         Surviving are his wife Tammy, son Mitchell Vankeuren, daughters Megan (Drew) Vankeuren and Ashley (Ben) Knowles, grandsons, Benjamin and Henry Knowles. A brother, Todd (Tammy) VanKeuren, sister Lori VanKeuren, and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by fur babies Levi and Lacy and fur baby granddaughter, Stella.  

      Calling hours will be held from 4pm-6pm on Wednesday July 19, 2023 at Hynes Funeral Home with a short service to follow.
