William J. Fane

William “Bill” Fane passed away suddenly after open heart surgery on April 15,2022. He was born in Walton, NY on June 2,1966. The son of Kjell and Maija Fane and Shirley Fane. He graduated from Roxbury Central School in 1985. He has been with Lynda Stratton-Fane for 30 years and married 18.

He was predeceased by his parents, brother Eric and father in law Tom Stratton. 

He is survived by his wife Lynda and 3 daughters, Alyssa and Ben Oliveri, Brandy and Cassidy Fane and 1 grandson Osiris. Mother in law Lynda Stratton, brothers and sisters in laws Tom and Iris Stratton, Kathy and Kevin Roberts and several nieces and nephews and some greats too. 

Bill and Lynda had Fanes Deli in Roxbury. He was a meticulous carpenter and loved to draw and hoped to eventually build a house. He loved his animals and they miss him dearly, Hunter, Stella, Nala, Sweetie Pie and Kaylee. 

A memorial service will be at the Old Kirkside Home in Roxbury on April 30th from 12 to 5. Burial will be at a later date.
