Theresa Samuelsen

Theresa Samuelsen passed away peacefully on February 11, 2025. She had been a resident of Mountainside for the past five years, following a long and fulfilling life in Kelly Corners.

She was predeceased by her devoted husband, Rolf, in 2004. Teresa is survived by her two daughters, Donna and husband Geoffrey Samuels, and Karen and husband Bob Grimm.

Born and raised in New York City, Theresa was a proud graduate of Bronx NY Catholic High School. She began her career as an insurance clerk in the city before moving to Kelly Corners in 1972 with her husband, Rolf, where they raised their two daughters.

Throughout the years, Theresa was deeply committed to her community. She volunteered with the Margaretville Hospital Auxiliary from the 1980s through the 2000s. Theresa was also a long-time parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Margaretville, where she was known for her kindness and faith.

A tentative burial date is set for May 2, 2025, at the Kelly Corners Cemetery.
