Elaine M. Pultz

Elaine M. Pultz of Fleischmanns, NY entered into rest on Sunday April 6, 2025. She was 97 years old.

Elaine was the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (Ackerly) Griffin, born March 1, 1928 in Arkville, NY.

A longtime resident, she retired after 53 of employment for Wadler Brothers, Fleischmanns, NY.

She was an avid sports fan supporting the Dodgers, Willie Mays, the Yankees, and U-Conn Women’s College Basketball Team.

She loved to walk the area in which she had been a resident for many years and could often be seen doing so.

Elaine is survived by her son, Terry C. Pultz, her sister Anne Eckert, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her husband Charles J. Pultz and her brother Sherwood Griffin.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 22, 2025 at Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville, NY from 4pm-6pm. A Catholic Mass will be held on Wednesday April 23, 2025 at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Parish in Margaretville, NY. Burial will be in the Clovesville Cemetery at a later date.

Donations in Elaine’s memory can be made to St. Judes Research or the U-Conn Women’s College Basketball Team.

A luncheon will be held following the mass to celebrate Elaine at the Arkville Fire Hall.
