Donald L. Seeley

Donald L Seeley passed away on October 28, 2022 at MidHudson Regional Hospital in Poughkeepsie NY

He was predeceased by his father Russel E Seeley and his mother Wreatha Clum. He was born May 15, 1947.

Donald is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Florence Seeley of Walton.

Don is also survived by his sisters and brothers Evelyn (Tina) Burnside, Barbara Raymond, Beverly Lawrence, Joseph Seeley, Sally Leitchfield, Lorelei Eckert, Harry Clum Jr and Larry Clum along with their spouses. Edward, Lester and Barry Chase along with Connie Chamberlain who he helped raise when they were children and he thought of them as his own. His step-daughters Donna Garcia and Denise Mehegan. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and by a very special great niece and great nephew and great great nephew Autumn, Devon and Patrick whom he thought the world of, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Don was a devoted Vietnam Veteran and belonged to the Roxbury American Legion and loved going there and helping out and being in the Veterans day parades. Don also belonged to and helped out in the Hancock and Downsville Senior Clubs.

There will be a military graveside service at the Margaretville Annex Cemetery, 211 Cross Road (off Margaretville Mountain Road) Margaretville, NY on Monday November 7th at 11am.
