Terryl H Shafer

Terryl Harris Shafer, 80, from Margaretville, N.Y. peacefully left us on May 30th, 2023 surrounded with family by his side. Terryl was a Union Iron Worker for Local 12 out of Albany N.Y. for 27 years. After retirement he was a lift attendant at Belleayre Ski Center until present where he never failed to greet with a smile. Terryl was a very kind, loving, hardworking and outgoing family man that cherished every moment he had with us while treating  everyone with kindness, compassion. He enjoyed spending time with his family whether it be vacations in Florida or Lancaster to hunting and fishing or even just sitting on the couch exchanging stories with laughter and smiles. Terryl will be greatly missed by everyone who had the privilege of his presence in their life. He is survived by wife Karen Shafer, daughter Tricia Shafer-Dee, son Terry Shafer, grandchildren Thomas Dee lll, Cody Fronckowiak, Chad Shafer, Skylar Shafer & Ryan Shafer. All funeral services will be held in his honor in private.
