Robert Greenberg

Robert Greenberg, 88, entered his final savanasa on December 19, 2021 at his home in Margaretville, New York.  He always said he “made his home in the Catskills because the magic was plentiful”.

He is survived by his wife/best friend Jutta of 64 years, his children; Cindy, Len, Susan and Lauren, his ten grandchildren and his six great-grandchildren.  His legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of those who will always remember their ‘Poppy”. 

He will be missed by many in the community who knew him best as their yoga instructor, from the days of living room sessions followed by home cooked meals enjoyed on the living room floor through the Saturday mornings in his home studio, to the community studios in Margaretville, Andes and Roxbury.  He was a guru to many. 

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral services.  A Celebration of his Life will be held Spring/Summer 2022. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heart of the Catskills Humane Society at 46610 NY-10, Delhi, NY 13753 in Rob’s name.
