Phyllis B. Dickman

March 28, 1928 – April 6, 2022

Plattsburgh – Phyllis Eliza Bellows Dickman passed away on April 6, 2022 at the age of 94 at the

CVPH Medical Center in Plattsburgh. Phyllis was born in Margaretville, N.Y., the daughter of Casper Bellows and Myra (Sanford) Bellows. She was a graduate of Margaretville Central School and married Donald R. Dickman on May 12, 1946. Phyllis enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching old movies. She was an avid reader and a wealth of knowledge about the Bellows and Sanford ancestors. Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, her husband, two daughters Joan Miller in 2017, and Myra Dickman in 2015, and three sisters: Catherine Rosa, Mildred Heller, and Virginia McCumber. Phyllis is survived by two children, Susan Dickman Conine (Michael) of Morrisonville N.Y., and Robert Dickman (Linda Baessler) of Silverthorne, CO. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Myra Conine Tyndall (James), Michael Conine, Jr., Michael Miller (Pam), Donald Miller, Lisa Dickman Sines (Aaron), and several nieces and nephews. A graveside committal service will be held on May 18, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Andes Cemetery, Pastor Deb Judisky will be officiating.
