Lawrence E. Norton

Lawrence passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on June 2nd, 2024.

Born in Hancock, NY on his family farm, the son of Otis and Elizabeth Norton.

After a tour in the US Army, he married Sally Ann Mallory on July 2, 1955 in Sidney, NY. Together they had three daughters, Catherine Louise, Joann Beth (deceased) and Roxanne Lee.

He is survived by his daughters Cathrine Hinkel of Arkville  and Roxanne Todd of Schenectady. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday June 15, 2024 at Hynes Funeral Home, Margaretville, NY from 1pm-3pm.

He was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.

He is very much loved and will be missed.
